RECYCLED MATERIALS

We work with a local casting foundry that uses only recycled metals. This means our pieces carry a much lower carbon emission footprint than if they were made from mined metals.

We source our other metals from Cooksongold, who are part of the Heimerle + Meule GmbH group and certified members of the Responsible Jewellery Council. Any excess metals from production / sampling are melted down and used in future creations.

LOCAL CASTING

We are committed to working with local, British manufacturers to support local craft and skills.

Our pieces are made using the ancient technique of lost-wax casting. The wax models are handmade in our Hackney Studio before being cast locally at a casting foundry in North London.

We work very closely with these local craftspeople, as well as various makers and suppliers in Hatton Garden, London's jewellery district.

Creating our jewellery in the UK honours our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint and support the local community.

MADE TO ORDER

Our pieces are made to order, to ensure conscious production and consumption. It means we can produce based on demand, and avoid any over production. We only sample as much is necessary, and anything unused is melted down to be made into new pieces.

PACKAGING

Each piece of jewellery comes in a bespoke textile pouch, within an outer box.

The bags are made my a local seamstress, and friend of the brand, from an ethically sourced cotton.

The boxes are produced by The Tiny Box Company, also based in the UK. They specialise in eco-friendly and sustainable packaging, and 90% of their stock is recycled, recyclable or compostable.
